AROFENE 1240 is a low viscosity nitrile phenolic solution adhesive, which provides high bond
strength, excellent chemical, moisture, oil, and heat resistance when properly cured.
Spray, flow coater, wide web coating applications for use in bonding friction or gasket materials to
metal substrates or themselves. Designed for use in clutch, transmission, drum brake, and disc
brake applications. AROFENE 1240 modified phenolic adhesive may be used as a primer coat or
topcoat for metal.
